Drip irrigation is a type of micro-irrigation system that has the potential to save water and nutrients by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of plants, either from above the soil surface or buried below the surface. The goal is to place water directly into the root zone and minimize evaporation. Drip irrigation systems distribute water through a network of valves, pipes, tubing, and emitters. Depending on how well designed, installed, maintained, and operated it is, a drip irrigation system can be more efficient than other types of irrigation systems, such as surface irrigation or sprinkler irrigation.
After detailed study of inter–relationship among soil, water, crop, land terrain and related agro climatic conditions, INDIA GREEN ORGANICS designs a suitable and economically viable system to deliver a measured quantity of water at the root zone of each plant at regular intervals. This is to ensure that the plants do not suffer from stress or strain of less and over watering. The system installed at the farmer’s field is commissioned and training imparted to the farmer, followed by regular after sales services. IGO offers you a complete system for your crop so that you reap all the benefits. By installing IGO's Drip system, you will be a member of a happy family of INDIA GREEN ORGNICS'S Drip Family.
Increasing water scarcity and limited availability of labour has paved the way for implementation of Micro Irrigation scheme. Micro Irrigation technology improves water use efficiency by 40% - 60% by precise water application. Through fertigation technology, fertilizers are directly applied to the root zone in drip irrigation, hence fertilizer use efficiency is also increased. The Micro Irrigation Scheme in Tamil Nadu is being implemented under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana “Per Drop More Crop” component, a flagship scheme of Government of India, from the year 2015-16 onwards.
